In St. Petersburg, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Florida, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. I really wanted to enjoy the drinks, but unfortunately, they weren’t quite to my taste. I ordered the fig and sage matcha, and while the combination sounded interesting, the flavors were very subtle. I could barely taste the matcha or fig, and the matcha itself tasted a little bland to me. The coffee was also lighter and less bold than I personally prefer. The drinks weren’t bad overall, but I was hoping for stronger, more distinct flavors.

I’ve been coming here consistently for the past three months, and if I had to describe this place in one word, it would be consistent. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which keeps me coming back. My go-to drinks are the Cookie Butter Latte and the Ice Ice Baby—honestly, you can’t go wrong with either (or both). As for the food, the breakfast burrito might just be the best in the Tampa Bay Area. The spicy avocado toast is also a hit. The pastry selection is always fresh and delicious, and I highly recommend the guava and white chocolate cookie and the cruffins. If you’re looking for a coffee shop with amazing drinks, great food, and consistently excellent service, this is definitely worth a visit!

Might be the best coffee shop I’ve been to. We got 2 coffees, a blueberry lemon (with lemon shaving in the cold foam) and a burnt honey latte. We also got a guava cookie. The coffees looked better than the pictures show being that I wasn’t going to write a review until I started drinking them and figured this coffee shop needed a good review. It’s also right off the bike trail. They have a lot of other options such as breakfast and breakfast sandwiches and some matcha tea. The interior is very comforting and relaxed.

I actually think I love this spot more than Sugar Baby! Although I love the Seminole location, I like the food truck menu slightly better— I’ve had the avocado toast (10/10) and the chicken wrap… SO good. I’ve also tried a few of their coffees and although daring to be different, I feel their espresso packs a punch and I like that. I usually just drink espresso on ice. The atmosphere is also very aesthetically pleasing and it’s large and spacious so you’re spread out from everyone. It’s just all around a vibe!!

This is a really neat concept and vibe here at Coffee Concrete. It’s a hip coffee shop with extra spaces to sit and where other vendors share the space, so it’s coffee but so much more. They do serve brunch as well, and some yummy looking baked goods. We did try the ube s’mores cookies because it looked too good not to try but it was a tiny bit disappointing- the marshmallow was nice but needed to be all over the cookie. Otherwise it was kind of a basic sugar cookie that didn’t stand out, I hate to say. However, the coffee stole the show. They have a yummy selection of fun specialty drinks so I ended up trying a salted caramel type latte- it was blended so well between the caramel flavoring, espresso and milk, just wonderful. Plus, it came in the cutest cup- Love you, Coffee Concrete! The extra spaces beyond the coffee bar were pretty neat too. My one complaint would be how insanely loud they were playing the music. We only stayed to order coffee and wait for it to be made, and if it had been any longer I might’ve started to get a headache because of how noisy it was. I don’t know if it’s like that all the time but it was not pleasant.. Everything else, the atmosphere and setup
